Pay Monthly Website For Coaches

Oct 28, 2026 | Advice

A pay monthly website for coaches costs from £24.99 +VAT a month, and that fee covers the build, the domain, hosting, an SSL certificate and email on your own name instead of a free Gmail address. That part is easy to explain in one sentence. The harder part is what goes on the page, because a coaching site almost never fails on design. It fails on description.

Picture a career coach three months into going solo. The site looks fine. Clean fonts, a good photo, a quote about growth across the top. Twelve people land on it in a month and nobody fills anything in, because not one of them could tell from the words whether this coach works with graduates, redundant middle managers or partners at law firms. The design did its job. The writing did not.

So this is about both: what you get for the money, and what to put in the boxes once you have it.

What A Pay Monthly Website For Coaches Includes

There are four packages, and they differ by how many pages you need:

  • £24.99 +VAT a month for a single page
  • £39.99 +VAT a month for up to three pages
  • £54.99 +VAT a month for up to five pages
  • £89.99 +VAT a month for up to ten pages

The monthly fee covers the same things on all four: we build the site, register and renew the domain, host it, fit the SSL certificate so browsers show it as secure, and set up email on your own domain. No separate hosting bill in March, no renewal notice you forget to pay in August.

The Starter is one page and does not include a contact form, so enquiries come to you by email or phone. The Professional and Premium packages also include one small update a month, which for a coach usually means swapping a testimonial, changing a package price, or adding a line about a new group programme. Anything over that is £10 +VAT per change. Payment is two months upfront, covering your first month and your final one. There is a twelve month minimum term, then it runs month to month on thirty days’ written notice.

A pay monthly website for coaches of this kind is a brochure site: pages that explain who you are, who you work with and how to reach you. It is not an online shop, and we do not custom-build booking systems. If you already run your discovery calls through Calendly or Acuity, we will embed it so people book straight from the page. If you want a members’ area with course videos behind a login, that sits outside the set packages, so ask and we will quote it separately. The nuts and bolts of how pay monthly websites work are set out in full on our main page about it.

Specific Beats General, Every Time

The one thing a pay monthly website for coaches cannot do is decide who you are for. That decision is yours, and it is worth more than any design choice on the page.

Coaching is a strange thing to sell. The buyer cannot inspect it beforehand the way they can inspect a kitchen fitter’s photos. All they have is your description of the work, and whether they see themselves in it. Somebody who reads “I help people unlock their potential” feels nothing. Somebody who reads “I work with GPs who are thinking about leaving clinical practice and have no idea what else they are qualified to do” either closes the tab or books a call, and both of those are useful outcomes.

Name The Person, Not The Method

Your qualification in a particular model matters to you and to your supervisor. It does not mean much to a buyer who has never heard of it. Lead with the person and the problem, then mention the method lower down the page.

Compare these two openings for a business coach:

  • “Transformational coaching for ambitious leaders who want to level up.”
  • “I work with owners of building firms with three to twelve staff who are still on the tools six days a week and want to stop.”

The second one loses most readers instantly. That is the point. The ones it keeps are the ones who will pay £500 a month for six months, because they have just read their own situation written down by a stranger.

Describe A Month, Not A Philosophy

The second thing people want from the page is the shape of the thing they are buying. Six sessions of sixty minutes over three months, by video, with email access between sessions, starting at £450. A ninety minute first session, then fortnightly calls. Whatever yours is, write it down.

On pricing, we will be blunt: put at least a starting figure on the page. Plenty of coaches hold prices back to get people onto a call, and it does work on some. It also means your mornings fill with calls from people who were never going to pay £2,400 for a programme, and that is an expensive way to protect a number. A starting price filters for you while you sleep.

Coaching is not a regulated profession in the UK, so your credentials do quiet work here. If you hold an accreditation with a body such as EMCC UK, name the level and say what it took to get it. If you came to coaching after twenty years running operations in retail, say that too. Buyers are weighing up whether you have sat where they are sitting.

The Pages That Do The Work

Most coaches need three to five pages. More than that and you end up writing filler.

  • Home. Who you work with, what changes, what it costs to start, and how to book. In that order, above the fold if you can manage it.
  • About. Not a CV. The route you took, why you coach the people you coach, your training, and a photograph of your face taken this decade.
  • How I Work. Session length, format, duration of a typical engagement, prices, what happens on the first call.
  • Results. Testimonials with a first name, a job title and a sector. “Sarah, finance director, housing association” is worth ten anonymous quotes.
  • Contact. A form, your email on your own domain, and the booking link if you use one.

On a five page pay monthly website for coaches that is the shape we would suggest. On a three page build, fold Results into Home and How I Work into About. On the single page, it all stacks up in one scroll, which works perfectly well for a coach who takes clients mainly by referral and just needs somewhere credible to send them.

What A Pay Monthly Website For Coaches Costs Over Three Years

Run the numbers rather than guessing at them. A three page build at £39.99 +VAT is £479.88 +VAT a year, or £1,439.64 +VAT across three years, and that includes the domain renewal, the hosting, the certificate and the email the whole time. The five page build at £54.99 +VAT comes to £1,979.64 +VAT over the same three years.

Now put a client next to it. A coach charging £450 for a six session package covers the first year of a three page site with just over one client. A business coach on £500 a month for six month engagements covers three years with a single sign-up. That is the honest test for a pay monthly website for coaches: not whether £39.99 feels like a lot in February, but whether the page brings in one person a year who would otherwise have gone elsewhere.

What the spread also buys you is no surprise bills. Domains, hosting and certificates all renew at different times of year, and keeping track of three renewals for a practice that turns over £30,000 is admin nobody needs.

Who A Pay Monthly Website For Coaches Suits

It suits a coach in their first two years who wants something credible online without a four figure bill before the first client lands. It suits anyone who has been coaching for a decade on referrals alone and now wants a page to point people at when they ask “have you got a website?”. And it suits coaches who do not want to be the person who logs in to fix a broken plugin on a Sunday night.

It suits people who would rather hand the whole thing over. The setup form, the drafting, the hosting and the small monthly changes sit with us. Our page on website design for coaches goes further into how we write a coaching page that sounds like you and not like a brochure.

Where a pay monthly website for coaches needs a conversation first is when you are selling something other than one to one work: a cohort programme with modules behind a login, or a course library people pay to access. Those are not part of a set package. Tell us what you have in mind and we will price it on its own.

If you would rather pay for the build in one go, we can do that too. Get in touch and we will price it.

From The Form To Live

Getting started is deliberately light on your side. One setup form, about fifteen minutes, covering who you work with, what you offer, your prices if you are publishing them, and any testimonials you have. Send us a photo and your logo if you have one.

We aim to have a first draft with you within ten working days of having everything we need, so the clock starts once your testimonials and photos are in, not the moment you hit submit. Up to three review changes are included before the site goes live, which for most coaches gets spent on rewording the opening line, swapping a photo and adjusting the way a package is described.

After that, changes are part of the monthly fee on the Professional and Premium packages, one small one a month, or £10 +VAT each beyond that. Raising your rates in January costs you an email to us.

Who Owns It At The End

This is the question we get asked most, and the answer is short. After the twelve month minimum term the website belongs to you, provided the account is up to date. It is your domain and your site, not something you rent indefinitely.

Most coaches stay because the alternative is managing hosting themselves for the sake of saving a few pounds a month, and that is a poor use of a coach’s time. But the choice is genuinely yours from month thirteen, on thirty days’ written notice.

So What Does The Monthly Fee Actually Buy A Coach?

A pay monthly website for coaches buys you a built, hosted, secured and maintained page from £24.99 +VAT a month, with your domain and your email included, and the technical side off your desk entirely. That is the mechanical answer.

The answer that matters more is what you do with the words on it. Name the exact person you help, describe the month they will spend with you, put a starting price where they can see it, and let the wrong enquiries filter themselves out before they reach your inbox. A pay monthly website for coaches that does that will earn back £39.99 in a single booking. One that hedges on who it is for will sit there politely doing nothing, however good it looks.
